At MAYAS, our design philosophy is deeply rooted in the desire to create swimsuits that embrace and enhance the natural beauty of a wide range of body types. We offer a diverse selection of straps, cutouts, pads and shapewear, all designed to enhance the beauty of each individual body.
Every piece of MAYAS swimwear is created with great care and attention to detail. We make a point of ensuring that the design and fit of our swimsuits permeate our final product, where the design is defined by timeless elegance but with an eye for modern trends. We carefully review each model to ensure they meet our strict standards for both quality and comfort.
Our fabric is certified with Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX, which guarantees that our customers are not exposed to harmful substances. With this certification, you can be sure that our swimwear is not only comfortable and looks good, but is also safe and healthy for your skin.
The Story Behind MAYAS
Behind the MAYAS brand lies an inspiring vision of making women feel comfortable and confident in their own bodies.
The idea for MAYAS was born while on vacation. The problem was that there was no swimwear that fit Maya's body type and made her feel comfortable and confident on the beach. But a simple question of 'why don't you make it yourself?' became the beginning of a swimsuit that could make women feel comfortable regardless of their body type and mood.
The vision was the start of a passionate journey that culminated in numerous dialogues with women of different ages and body types and collaborations with designers. The goal from the beginning was to develop swimwear that could give women confidence, make them comfortable in their own bodies and make them shine.
After a year of intensive work and several prototypes, we are now proud to present our first collection in the summer of 2024. This collection is created to highlight the beautiful shapes and provide the comfort that all women deserve.
MAYAS is named after our founder Maya. The mission was to create the swimsuit that creates confidence and comfort - and by keeping the naming close to the original mission, we ensure that our core is with us in everything we do - from design, to production and to the name of our company.
At MAYAS we are dedicated to creating shaping swimwear that not only dresses the body, but also ensures a sense of well-being and comfort. We believe that all women deserve to feel comfortable in their own bodies, no matter where they are.
Our slogan "feel comfortable, shine everywhere" is not just an expression – it is at the core of everything we do.
